Oasis Educational Services

Oasis Educational Services is a wellness and professional growth platform that equips and supports educators with practical tools, coaching, and training to thrive in both the classroom and in life.

Logo Design

J.L. Waters came to me by reference from someone I had just completed a logo design for. She had a logo, but it needed to be refined and incorporate her brand colors. This project was simple in scope; however, it gave her a huge boost of confidence as she finally received the logo she dreamed of! From this logo design, a partnership was formed, and more amazing graphic design projects emerged.

Web Design

Typically, after designing a logo, the next core design need my clients have is for a website. The Oasis Educational Services website was crafted on Squarespace to balance a dynamic design with an easy-to-use platform for J.L. Waters. The purpose of this site was to have a hub for her products and coaching services. Some guiding principles for this design came from Donald Miller and his website design principles in his famous book Building a Story Brand.

Content Creation

Now that J.L. Waters had the foundation of a great logo and a stunning website, she was ready to start focusing more effort on improving her content. With my help, J.L. Waters was able to achieve a video lighting strategy that significantly improved the quality of her videos. I take those videos, edit them, and post them.

With my professional help, we were able to take her videos from “okay” to “amazing!“ These videos come wrapped in amazing thumbnail designs along with copy and repurposed clips produced quickly with assistance from AI.

Messaging and Strategy

Through years of research and hands-on experience, I developed a messaging framework called The Empathy Arc. This framework produces what I call the Value Blueprint—a clear guide that helps clients achieve success by creating value rooted in the real needs of their audience.

Simon Sinek tells us to start with “why.” But here’s the truth: if your business or product’s purpose is shaped by your audience, you’re not starting with “why”—you’re starting with who. The Empathy Arc builds on the insights of Simon Sinek, Donald Miller, and Seth Godin, but flips the script. By beginning with who we serve and the problems they face, we earn the right to communicate the why behind the brand.

For example, when J.L. Waters worked through this process, the path became clear: her success hinged on delivering offerings and messaging that directly addressed the burnout challenges her audience of teachers faced. In August and September 2025, we began with a survey and focus group to uncover those pain points. Today, we’re refining her offerings and building ad strategies designed to meet those needs head-on—proving that real growth comes when value is created through empathy.
